We are just back from the epic Wake Up Festival with Sounds True.

This newsletter is dedicated to the Global Mala Project which is continuing around the world from the natural inspiration of many community leaders and teachers like you. We are featuring Debbie Kaminsky's Global Mala NJ and ways to offer global mala in your own practice, in your classes or in an event. We are grateful for National Yoga Month and Juil sandals for their support of the Global Mala.

Our pilgrimage-yogadventure retreats to India (almost full), Costa Rica and Maya Tulum are now open for registration and France is full to the brim with the European yoga teacher community. At home, Bhakti Fest and Yoga Journal Tantra Immersion and special classes at Yoga Tree are on the horizon.

If you are a yoga teacher in any swing state, it is very important to connect with any voter registration organizations or go to www.americavotes.org, as there are serious blocks to the poor and elderly being able to vote with newly enforced laws that are a great hinderance to people being able to exercise their right to vote. Also Off the Mat into the World's Yoga Votes (www.yogavotes.org) movement is supporting consciousness for the next election.
