Valeria’s yoga journey started in 2000 with curiosity after reading an article about yoga – it was love at first ‘bend’. After six years of practicing she decided to take it a step further and to become a yoga teacher, so in 2006 she travelled to Nasik, India to experience the ‘eastern roots’ of yoga at Yoga Vidya Gurukul and then completed her ‘western roots’ 200hr TT with Ana Forrest, then studies with Baron Baptiste and Desiree Rumbaugh.
In 2008 she opened Hari Om Yoga with her partner.
The fluidity of Shiva’s movement’s transpired Valeria to begin to study with Shiva in 2009. Despite a busy schedule of owning a yoga studio, teaching classes and workshops; Valeria makes sure that she takes yearly pilgrimage to Venice Beach to study further with Shiva.
In Valeria’s classes you will feel empowered – she uses fluid sequences, playfulness and strength that are drawn from her own practice.
