Nicky has drawn great inspiration and guidance from Shiva Rea since their first meeting in Bali in 2007. She also had the great fortune, to develop a relationship with Senior Teacher Twee Merrigan, whom she has assisted at conferences, teacher trainings and retreats around the world. Nicky is humbled to now be an assistant to Shiva Rea and a teaching mentor for other trainees within the Prana Flow community. Nicky continues to study regularly with many of the world’s great teachers, and also holds certifications in Yin, Pre-Natal and Kids yoga, and is nearing completion of an 800 hour certification in Yoga Philosophy with Georg Feurstein.
Nicky recently relocated to Toronto, with her husband and two baby boys. She is now proud to be both a Lululemon Ambassador, and the Yoga Community Leader at 889 Yonge Wellness Spa and Yoga Community – an incredibly beautiful, holistic urban sanctuary in downtown Toronto.
