Diversity + Inclusivity values
We support people of all races, ethnicities, cultures, religions, genders, body types, disabilities and sexual orientations on their yoga journey.
Honoring Inclusivity, Diversity and Flow for All
Samudra Global School for Living Yoga is committed to inclusivity, respect in all our programs as we move towards a “non-profit/work to give”, sustainable model honoring of pathways towards unity in all cultures. Wherever we are in the world we honor, indigenous wisdom keepers who are caretakers of the sacred balance of the elements, creatures, rhythms and cycles of life.
Prana Vinyasa continues to strive towards inclusivity in yoga by exploring:
Inclusivity and compassion in our language and cueing.
Opportunities for teachers to self reflect on their hidden biases, intentions as a teacher, and actions in front of a class.
Ways to reach out to underserved populations after doing our own deep reflection and intention setting before entering communities we want to serve.
For 2022, 300hr students can integrate Diversity and Inclusivity Training (up to 20 hrs of training) through our collaboration with Yoga Jubilee (www.yogajubilee.org) as well as be part of our Diversity Circle “PranaFlow-BreathShala” learning from 40 Languages of Breath + Cultural Experience through Prana Vinyasa teachers and guests around the world.
