Primal Flow - Prana Vinyasa Flow and the Art of Kalarippayatu

Primal Flow - Prana Vinyasa Flow and the Art of Kalarippayatu

experience the preliminary practice to the art of Kalarippayatu - an embodied art form and healing system considered to be one of the oldest “martial art” forms in the world.

Experience a dynamic introduction to the ancient Indian martial art form kalaripayattu, or kalari, and its shared roots within yoga and Ayurveda. We'll explore the fluid spiral strength of kalari, which includes Shiva's integration with Prana Flow vinyasa forms for embodying the instinctual shakti of yoga.

This program offers an exploration into the potent practices of Kalarippayat and Kalari Prana Vinyasa.

Join an experiential journey into our instinctual body through the primal vinyasas of Prana Flow Yoga, flowing forms that awaken a deeper, nonverbal connection to core movements found in animal forms.

In three different pathways, we'll explore the coiled power of the cobra, tiger, and monkey through primary movements, asanas, bandhas, and sound to release a more vibrant, flowing way of moving in formal practice and in life.

Designed for a transformative and immersive learning experience, this program emphasizes cultivating inner strength (Vira Shakti) through rigorous practice and holistic self-care.
